The Cable Kanoko Knit Polo "CARTER" makes a simple outfit anything but boring. While paying homage to the classic styles of cable knitting, polo shirts, and knitwear, we've added a modern twist to its design.

This knit polo shirt feels softer and more relaxed than a cut-and-sew polo, while maintaining a sense of elegance. To maximize its appeal, we designed a silhouette with just the right amount of room, ensuring it never looks sloppy. It covers areas of concern regarding body shape while elegantly pulling together your entire outfit.

The sleeves are designed in a 5-quarter length to minimize upper arm exposure. With a silhouette that follows the line of the arm, it can be styled with a variety of bottoms, including relaxed-fit slacks and smart straight-leg pants.

Gentle materials: "Super Strong Twisted Cotton" & "Washi." Cable pique knit exuding cleanliness and allure.

We've blended "washi yarn," which offers moisture absorption, quick-drying, and antibacterial properties, with "C WAVE," a super strong twisted cotton yarn popular in our classic WOOSTER series. While it has a plump elasticity, you can also feel the smooth, non-clinging texture derived from the washi yarn. The yarn has minimal fuzz, allowing for good breathability, and the cable knit pattern appears distinct and beautiful, creating a sharp and intellectual impression. Since it's machine washable, you can always maintain a clean look.

The knit fabric combines cable knitting with the familiar "pique knit" used in polo shirts, creating a more three-dimensional texture than typical cable knits. This avoids the overly sweet impression often associated with preppy or ivy styles, where good upbringing takes precedence, and instead achieves a look that balances dignity and strength.

Gentle made: Made in Japan knit, meticulously crafted from the stitch pattern to the neckline by artisans in Yamagata

Despite being a highly elastic knit, every single stitch is carefully designed to ensure the knit fabric is uniform and appears symmetrical. The placket's specifications have been adjusted to prevent the cable pattern from being interrupted. To maintain the seamless flow of the pattern, the difficult process of accurately stitching together millimetre-thin seam allowances was achieved by the skilled artisans in Yamagata.

This is a garment where value is not conveyed through excessive logos or decorations, but through the precision of its materials, knit fabric, silhouette, and stitching. This Japanese-made knit, meticulously crafted through continuous dialogue with artisans from a factory in Yamabe Town, Yamagata Prefecture, elevates everyday attire to a higher standard.

[Washing Instructions]

・Use a neutral detergent.
・When washing, avoid rubbing and gently press wash.
・Wring lightly.
・After washing, reshape and dry.
・Do not tumble dry.
・When ironing, use a pressing cloth.

・If wet with sweat or rain, color may transfer due to friction, so please be careful.
