We focused on natural materials as much as possible, creating a super dry touch and lightweight fabric with excellent water absorption, quick-drying properties, and breathability. The "DRY WOOSTER" series was born from the desire to alleviate the discomfort of a hot and humid environment—a concrete jungle where white sunlight sears the eyelids, heat shimmer rises, and sweat runs down the skin, making clothes cling to the body.

While adopting the same knit fabric as the popular WOOSTER series, which has been around since the brand's inception, this series has been adapted for spring and summer. With a focus on natural materials, it features an ultra-dry touch, lightweight feel, and functions such as absorbency, quick-drying, and breathability. We meticulously pursued a modern silhouette that elevates adult coordination and intricate details that create a refined impression.

The "DRY WOOSTER TEE" boasts a unique silhouette that leverages the design and high elasticity unique to seamless knitwear, setting it apart from ordinary cut-and-sew garments. While providing a relaxed fit in the body, the slim-fit sleeves create a powerful, masculine arm line. It pairs well with casual pants, and its refined finish, with neatly fitting cuffs and hem, also makes it an excellent match for elegant slacks.

Gentle materials: An original knit that specializes in a crisp, ultra-dry touch, made from washi and ultra-strong twisted cotton yarn!

This knit fabric was developed to alleviate the discomfort of hot and humid environments. By knitting the contact surface with Japanese paper (washi) yarn, it achieves an ultra-dry touch that reduces the sensation of fabric sticking to the skin due to sweat. Washi is known as "Japanese linen" and, despite being a natural fiber, boasts numerous functional benefits such as a dry touch, lightweight feel, and excellent absorbency, quick-drying properties, and breathability.

The front surface is adjusted so that "C WAVE SLIM," a finer version of the ultra-strong twisted cotton yarn "C WAVE" familiar from the WOOSTER series, is visible. This creates a texture with natural elasticity that separates well from the skin, and it also boasts high stretch and shape recovery properties. While it uses a classic half-cardigan stitch, we intentionally adopted the cleaner reverse side (smooth side) as the outer surface to enhance its elegant feel. Despite the thin fabric, the beautifully defined vertical ridges create a visually stylish impression.

Produced in a long-established factory in Yamagata Prefecture that has specialized in knitwear for over 70 years. The basic structure is packed with advanced craftsmanship, including the balance of material and yarn blends, and the adjustment of knitting tension. As a result, the knit fabric is beautifully uniform and highly shape-recoverable, so even if a thread gets pulled, you can largely restore it to its original state by gently stretching and rubbing it with your hands, then applying a steam iron.

"This knit offers a comfort that reminds one of lying in a hammock strung between palm trees on a tropical island beach. I hope you'll experience the pleasant sensation of its dry texture, combined with the high absorbency and breathability that feels like a breeze carrying away your sweat. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for those seeking the smooth, melting texture of cashmere or silk.

The silhouette, on the other hand, aims for a new balance where the shoulders are dropped, yet it conveys a fitted, alluring charm reminiscent of Italian knit brands. It pairs well with trendy loose-fitting pants, and also looks sharp when styled with elegant straight-leg slacks. Layering with a ZEFIRO inner shirt for a sweater-like feel is also an excellent styling option."
