大人っぽく、リラックスしているのに、どこか武骨に見え、可愛げも感じる。服好きな作り手の少しマニアックなこだわりを詰め込んだ意欲作です。スリーピングシャツやグランパシャツのようなプルオーバー型シャツをアレンジ。ボックス型シルエットで、ワイドスラックスやカーゴパンツ、スウェットパンツなど、ラフなゆったりボトムスと合わせることで、品とリラックス感を両立したコーディネートを表現できます。

Gentle materials：タフな色気を宿す。熟練職人が手間暇をかけて仕上げた超高密度ウェザー生地

生地は水をも弾くほど密度が高いことから「ウェザー」と呼ばれている平織り生地のなかでも、極限まで高密度に織り上げられた「ハイカウントウェザー」を使用。一般的なカジュアルシャツに使われる糸よりも少しだけ細い60番手の糸を2本取りし、高密度に織り上げています。

そんな高密度生地を着やすくするために、生機(きばた)の段階で熟練の職人に小ロットずつ時間をかけてゆっくりと生地を揉みほぐしてもらいました。染色後の最終工程でも生地の芯から揉みほぐしを重ねています。乾燥では生地にテンションをかけずに優しく仕上げることで自然な表情に。

そして縫い上げて形にした後、バイオウォッシュ加工をかけることで、まるで長年大切に着込んだかのようなヴィンテージの表情とソフトでふっくらした風合いを表現しました。

特徴的な生地の風合いを際立たせるように、ノーカラーシャツはボタンを留めたときに表に出ないミニマルな比翼仕立てに仕上げました。フロントのヨーク切り替えはまるで鎖骨に沿うような曲線を描く設計に。まるで僧帽筋が発達しているような力強さを演出します。

「シンプルな着こなしに飽きたとき、色物や柄物に手を出すのも良いのですが、その一歩手前というか、無地のベーシックカラーという条件のなかで新しい工夫を取り入れたい欲が出てくるんです。

このシャツは素材を変える、形を変えるというアレンジの中で、ベーシックとしてギリギリ成立するラインを狙いました。

ZEFIROやタンクトップをインナーに合わせるのはもちろん、生地が高密度なので１枚で着用してもサマになります。ダブルジャケットのBLUFFを羽織ってもバランス良くおさまる寸法に調整しているのもポイント。まるで『マイアミ・バイス』のソニー・クロケットがコレクション会場を闊歩しているようなスーツ・ジャケットスタイルを楽しむのもおすすめです。」
